माया जाल

 माया  से घिरा रंगरलियाँ  करता

याद  उसकी  भुला कहता  है बन्दा

दिन  अच्छा गुज़रा

दुःख  से भरा हर  पल कोसता

याद  करके  उसे पूछता  है बन्दा

दिन ये क्यों  बुरा

अच्छे में बुरा बुरे  में अच्छा

जाल  गहरा  बिछा समझे  कोई  विरला

अच्छा  क्या बुरा

सुख  में उसे जब देते  भुला

फ़रिश्ता  बन दुःख मिला  देता  खुदा

याद उसकी दिला

 Maya se ghira rangralian karta

Usko bhula kehta hai banda

Din achhaa guzra

Dukh se bharaa har pal kosta

Yaad karke use poochhta hai banda

Din ye kyon bura

Achhey mein bura burey mein achha

Jaal gehra bichha samjhe koi virla

Achha kya Bura

Sukh mein use jab detey bhula

Farishta ban dukh mila deta khuda

Yaad uski dila

Deception

 Deluded exists

In material persists

Forgetting the lord

Claims our man

This day is charmed

In times of sorrow

Curses each moment

Falls back on the lord

Then questions our man

Why the day is so bad

 There’s bad in the good

And good in the bad

The web is cast wide

But few understand

The difference at all

 In enjoyment seeped

As we forget the lord

Comes sorrow like angel

To help and resolve

And link us to the lord
